Services
Surgery:
Lone Peak offers state of the art surgery ranging from
spays and neuters to extensive orthopedic procedures,
five days a week.
All patients are monitored under anesthesia by a technician
who measures heart rate, oxygenation, blood pressure,
breathing, and temperature. We are committed to pain
management and making your pets as comfortable as possible
during their stay with us.

Health Exams:
Prevention is a priority for us at Lone Peak, and yearly
health exams are the best way to head off problems before
they start.
By doing a thorough physical exam and learning about
your pets' history, we determine the ideal vaccines
and wormers for your pet. Keep in mind that vaccines
and wormers often vary from pet to pet.
We may recommend other tests such as x-rays or bloodwork
as part of the yearly exam, especially for elderly pets.

Dentistry:
Dental health is a key component to the overall health
of your pets. Lone Peak offers dental procedures five
days a week.
Our electronic scalers, polishers, and drills speed
up the procedure, minimizing time under anesthesia.
Dental X-rays enable us to thoroughly assess the roots
of teeth, letting us “see” below the gum
line.

Laboratory:
We offer an in-house laboratory, allowing us to do complete
blood counts, chemistries, and specialized tests such
as electrolyte analysis at our hospital.
We also use an outside laboratory, connecting us to
specialists in areas such as veterinary oncology (the
study of cancer), internal medicine, and dermatology.

Microchipping:
Microchips are a permanent form of identification for
your pet. Good samaritans bring lost pets to us on a
regular basis, and their microchips help us return them
to their owners quickly. Microchips can be inserted
at any time, at any age.
