Digital X-ray:
Lone Peak is proud to be one of very few clinics in the area to use digital computerized radiography. This technology enables us to take fewer x-rays to get the perfect image, and to send X-rays to specialists with ease.

Dental X-ray:
Still a relatively new technology in veterinary medicine, dental X-rays enable us to understand the health of the entire tooth, not just the part we can see. We can't imagine pulling teeth without having dental X-rays at our disposal. Dental X-ray plates also give us excellent images of other body parts such as paws of very small animals, and the nasal sinuses, which are both difficult to image using conventional X-ray plates.

Ultrasound:
Ultrasound enables us to visualize the abdomen and the heart with greater accuracy than X-ray alone. This technology can be used to evaluate pregnancies, the urinary bladder, and organs such as the liver and kidneys.

Tonopen:
This tool allows us to read the pressure inside your pet's eyeball! This is an important tool in detecting glaucoma and other eye diseases.

Cryoprobe:
The cryoprobe allows us to treat distichia, or eyelashes that grow in an abnormal position. This condition can be very painful and irritating to your pet's eye. This tool uses liquid nitrogen to freeze hair follicles and prevents regrowth of the hairs.

Fluid pumps:
Fluids pumps enable us to administer exact volumes of fluids to your pets, and ensure that fluid therapy continues during overnight stays.

Warming platforms and heating pads:
Keeping your pet warm during procedures speeds their recovery from anesthesia. Warming platforms provide constant heat beneath your pet and pads flowing with heated water laid on top keep your pet cozy and warm.
